(((Jenn))) (((Meggie))) I've had days where I cannot stop crying no matter what. After my first husband passed away a coworker made me promise that I would get up and come to work each day and then, if I felt like going home, I could, but I couldn't just stay home in bed. And that helped I think. But, there are days I just had to go home. I was fortunate enough to have an office with a closed door if I need it but you guys are out working with the public/on the phone. Just remember to be kind to yourself and take it day by day-hour by hour if you need to. You'll have better days and bad days and hopefully soon the good days will out number to bad ones. Know that I'm sending hugs to you both and saying prayers for comfort and healing.

Oh, and a quote that I feel is very true- "We all cry the same tears, just over different graves"- grief is universal.

Chugga, chugga, choo, choo!!!!

Good Morning TMB!!!!!  Wooo hoooo!!!  Look who is here for the second time this month!!  LOL  Working on making this a habit...  maybe somebody needs to text me every day to tell me to get my butt on here.  Oh, what did I just say???  LOL

So, Terrific Tuesday....  So much going on at our house.  So far, I've lost 5 pounds of my recent fall regain.  Go me!!  I need to get 4 more off to get back to the upper limit of where I like to be...and another 10 to reach my personal goal.  I wanna get there to see what it looks/feels like.  If it's good, I'll work on staying there, if not, then back to my 140-145 range.  :)  However, I'd really like to see what 133-138 is like.  Just wanna know...  Ya know?

In other news, son #3 turned 15 yesterday.  Where has the time gone???  He's such a darling.  Can't say enough wonderful stuff about that one.

Hubby took me to see Rick Springfield on Saturday night at the Glass Cactus in Grapevine.  Wow, what a night!!!  And, it was "just a date"....not even an early anniversary present.  Speaking of that, our 20th anniversary is on the 21st.  Wow....  it doesn't seem that many years.  Time flies when you are having fun.  :)

Our high school football team made it to the state championship...which will be played in Cowboy Stadium this weekend.  Son #2 has been asked to be on the Color Guard by his Marine Corps JROTC instructors!!!  HE can't decide "IF" he wants to do it. I keep saying YES!!  It's Cowboy Stadium!!  I wanna come take pictures of my son on the field....  He doesn't think it's anything special....  WHAT???????  I just don't get this kid.

Son #1 is coming home in 8 days for Christmas!!!  I can't wait to see him!!  It's going to be awesome to have him HOME.  It's so hard to believe he's out on his own. I'm still making that transition.  I feel like he's just been away at camp or something.  Is that normal??  LOL

Got a lot of stuff going on, but trying through it all to take care of me.  I sort of let my vitamins slip there for a while but am finally getting back on track with those, thanks to the alarms on my phone to remind me every four hours to take them.  Amazingly (LOL) I'm feeling lots better now that I'm taking them consistently again.  :)  Speaking of my alarm, there it goes to tell me to take my first ones of the day.  LOL

Guess that's it for me.  Off to read (posted first so I'd be SURE and do it) the rest of the train and check the other threads.

I've missed y'all!!!  Now, go out there and MAKE GOOD CHOICES!!!

Hey You Guys!

It's Tuesday! That means it's one day closer to Christmas break. I can't wait to have two weeks off with Baby Blake. I have some Christmas shopping to do this weekend. I am hoping to get it all finished.

Dirk's boss asked him yesterday if he'd work for the next 8 days straight, this is on top of the 6 he's already done. After that he'll have like 16 days off. I guess it will be worth it in the end when he's home with all of us.

Mom and Dad aren't coming in for Christmas but they plan on being here for Blake's first birthday party. It's hard to believe that it's just around the corner. Where did the time go? This time last year I was on bedrest and not doing a very good job of staying put.

I have another ARD to run so I gotta go! Love you guys bunches!

Good Morning everyone.  Its off to work for me today.  I am up drinking coffee and printing the last of my Christmas letters so I can finish up my Christmas cards today.  I feel behind on everything as far as Christmas is concerned.  It is probably because I am just not feeling it at all this year.  Trying my best to keep it together and just make it through the holidays.  I do find going through the motions helps because even though my overall attitude is BAH HUMBUG there are little shining moments within each christmas act.  With everything that happened its going to be a really tight christmas and most of my shopping will be on and after payday which is Dec 22nd. I am not looking forward to fighting those crowds but we will do what we have too.  What is important is all our bills are paid, food is in the cupboard and love surrounds me. In the words of Meggie (and others) fake it till you make it.  Happy Tuesday everyone.  My week is half over!
I'm not perfect but I'm me and that is good enough!
